From one point of view it's four fairly intense days covering all the business aspects of running a pub. From another, it's a week spent with like minded people, having a bit of fun, sharing views and learning from each other.

What is it?
This is a customer focused course designed for experienced lessees who are used to running and maintaining beer cold stores. It covers all the elements affecting the dispense and quality of lagers and ales. This includes cellar environment as well as dispense equipment. It also covers aspects of front of house management and retailing standards, whilst offering an opportunity to discuss current beer issues.

This is an interactive course which can be run in pubs. Delegates work in groups and this encourages debate and the discussion of real issues. It certainly is not just looking at perfect cellars in a classroom!
This is a full day course running from 09.30 to 5.00pm
This is a new in depth cask ale course, Cask Marque approved, designed to look at all aspects of cask ale and what it can do for your business. It covers the following topics in detail.
The aim of the course is to help maximise cask sales in your business, and increase overall wet sales
The initiative will promote quality of product care, serve and display, allowing you to add the "theatre" of cask to your pub. It is customer/consumer facing so gives a greater understanding to the potential cask ale offers, as well as highlighting some of the pitfalls.
It is tailored to your business - whether you're highly experienced or new to cask, making cask a high-value, and recognisable asset for your outlet and helping you tap into a highly influential group of new drinkers.
Successful delegates will receive a certificate upon completion.
This is a half-day course which takes place in a brewery. It includes a brewery tour and an overnight stay in a local hotel.
